At first I thought it was going to be thread where every bird had it's mouth open singing Pauhana - :); then the Chuck-wills Widow blew the gig.
The Prarie and the Merlin are great finds and captures, but how long did it take for you to find "Chuck"; that is certainly the first I've seen here on the forum.

The Chuck was found nesting last week at local park by a friend when it flushed. We went back this weekend to check on progress and I was able to get the shot. My only shot ever of a Chuck. If the bird had not flushed it would have never been found. It's amazing how they can disappear into the underbrush.
