They look good, but they should be with that lens ;)
The players seem to be isolated, was this a match?

Yes it was a match. I just cropped them. A few of them were on breakaways.

From what I have seen there are a lot of club teams. In California, there are a lot of people who have immigrated from England and other areas that rugby is popular. Is it as big as football? No it is not but there is a pretty good following I would say.

Can you share with me what camera and lens you used for your large group shot?

I used my Canon 7d and used my 70-200mm. I did not have any wide angle lenses with me that day so you can image I had to stand back a distance.

Ty..one of the players complained there were not enough pictures posted. I took about 700 or so and had 12 keepers. To me that is a good % lol. Sometimes people want quantity over quality.

Yep, I hear ya. But 12 out of 700 is a bit harsh... should be at least about 15, no? :p:lol:

The only difference is the aircraft are moving 100 times faster !
I would say I take about 150 - 200 and publish about 50 -70 depending on the game and how the team are playing.
Maybe I have lower standards ?
