One thing I hate about Zen though is the lack of Android Application

if you are an apple user then its ok but I am an android user and for the life of me I can't get the links out of my Zenfolio to attach it on the forum hahaha

They both have free trials. I'd try em first. I personally like Zen's layouts and stuff better. I would consider not just on price. Zen has $50 a year unlimited hosting. The difference between $2 over a whole year is really negligible.

I never accept or send with gift. It is against paypal's terms and it is dangerous. I also rarely drive anywhere to pick up. Even a 25 mile drive will cost me $6 of gas these days. I can send a lens across the country for $6.

I was in the guy's living room when I sent the payment by gift. I had the flash in hand, had already tested it, so I figured it was pretty safe.

You may be able to send a lens across the country for $6, but you can't send it across an international border for that price.

Besides, I love road trips, it was a beautiful day, I stopped and watched the Offshore Powerboat races, and filled the truck with cheap American gas.

It is not May 1st yet Plus that doesn't affect current users. If you get in before that you are locked in I believe.

I guess if you have it in your hand it is fine

Even if shipping is $50, it is better than driving for me assuming the drive is more than 2 hours. I guess if your time for driving is free, the wear on your car is free, and you enjoy driving, maybe it is ok
