Arenas is weak in the mind, and he hasn't been the same since the knee issue 2 years ago. Rashard Lewis always sucked. Magic were insane for ever giving him that contract. Par for the course with Otis Smith. Kind of fitting that Lewis was traded for Arenas.

And Otis traded them for each other! One terrible 100+ million dollar contract for the other

Yeah, super amusing  Low-risk trade, in any case.

You never know though, certain characters just don't work with certain teams. There was a slight chance Arenas could have been good with Howard. He still has talent. Rashard Lewis really just sucked.

It's horrible how these players can be under contract for millions of dollars for multiple years, with so much guaranteed money. In the rest of the world, you can get fired at any given time, with only 2 weeks severance. That's how it should be in professional sports too.

They need to go to non-guaranteed money with only bonus as a guarantee. This way it keeps players producing at a high level.

I agree.

I also think contracts should be more performance based as well. Have a base salary, but most should be based on performance.

Then they'd just go for the states--less team play, more padding. I just think they should have some limited ability to fire a player outright.

That is true. Although it depends on the stats. I mean it could be more team based incentive as well.

There has to be a better way than the current system.

Sadly, the players would never go for it. Baseball, Football, Hockey, Basketball... They all go on contracts, and none can simply fire a contract player for pure performance reasons. Athletes and Actors... they're just on another plane of existence when compared with the rest of the world.

of course Kenji...I have only one complaint well ok two.

1. I want a better battery life...one that would last at least 2 days haha
2. I want a Zenfolio app for Android ( I know its not the Note's fault) haha

other than those two...the note is freaking awesome!!! I love how fast it is compared to my iphone4
