I got my usual 4am email from amazon, lol. I kind of hate them but today it's a good one. I guess I wont unsubscribe from them just yet.

Anyway, they have some rather nice deals on SD cards today, it's the Ultra Class 10 SD cards and they are pretty cheap for large amounts of memory.

16gb at 18 bucks
32gb @ 30 bucks
64gb @ 58 bucks...

I think I'm going to have to order me a 64gb card to put in my camera for when I'm doing video work. 4GB files can suck up a lot of space.

Gets annoying that amazon over pads the original price when they do their "deals". They never had any of these at the "List" price so no 50% savings. 20% maybe. Not a bad deal but wish they could be honest with their discounts/promotions.

Often things will also get even cheaper a few days after these discount deals. I saw for example the card below was $17 until two days ago. Makes no sense for the price to double when the Sandisk 32GB Micro is twice the card for half the cost.

you are talking class 4 compared to class 10, that's a huge difference there. speeds of the cards are drastically different.

I agree that they do pad the prices when they advertise their sales but it's still a pretty decent deal for what they are selling here. I also prefer to get Sandisk when I can and when I know it's going to end up being a legit card..... Years ago I went with the cheapest advertised price for a "Sandisk SD card" and got a fake. I called up sandisk for warranty related issues and they were like you got had, so I gave them the info of the company I got it from and worked a deal to get a proper card for the info, lol. They don't do that anymore though.

Granted I'm not saying places like B&H would do that but other sites will sell you fakes.
