iMacs with nonreflective displays coming?

It's very possible. They did release non-glossy versions of their Macbooks.

I can't see this being hard to do or to have a retrofit on older models as it's only the plastic/perspex cover thats actual reflective.

I sure hope so, glossy displays are one of the main reasons stopping me buying a Mac

You can buy an LCD protector to cut the glare from just about anything these days.

If they drop the price point around $1000, I can see leaving a Hack for the real deal iMac. I will not hold my breath on Apple wanting to buy mainstream desktop marketshare via significantly lower prices. They are already getting lots of new desktop business from folks who have iPads and iPhones and want the iCloud on their desktop.
