Here are a few from the 2 hour session we did last week. What a lovely girl and so much fun to shoot!

They look underexposed and too cool... ;)

Just kidding, I cant even see them as theyre blocked at my work. BTW, I think you have a fantastic diverse portfolio on your site.

I'm sure these will be to warm and overexposed! There are a few that I pushed the highlights!

Thanks everyone!

Number 1 is rocking it. Its one of the shots that really stood out to me on your site. I really like the last two as well!

I hope I wasnt a nitpicker in your last thread and mean no offense. The second shot, oddly enough from the same location as your last set, looks underexposed. This is the method I use to check exposure (and combined with a light meter now) I find it to be quite accurate. :D http://photocamel.com …g-exposure-portraits.html (external link)

No offense Shane!

I really go off of experience and honestly what just looks good on my monitor as I know what to expect when the prints come in. I take a bit of a less "technical" approach these days..sometimes that is a good thing and sometimes maybe not as much. With the white dress and bright areas behind here in the 2nd shot I really didn't want to push the exposure. I like to allow a bit of wiggle room for the printer because I do let color correct...many reasons for this. I've found when I push things to the limit and then they color correct I can get some blown highlights that I don't like.
