The one with the person in the arch is awesome.
I didn't get the scale until I was the guy...

Those star shots through the arch are amazing....what was lighting it? Just moon light?

Very nice work, Ken. I particularly like the self portrait as it helps to show the true scale of that place. Arches is magnificent and your photos do it due justice.

Beautiful shots, Ken. We were there almost 2 years ago and I could stand to go again. It is an amazing place.

I love your night shots :)

Thank you, I got the "standard" photos, but liked these the best. The "walk up" photos while Ok, just didn't do it for me.

I had near a half moon, however the first one I used a small mag light to light the shadows of the arch. The last is just moonlight.

I know that it'll be some time before I can do a return trip, but like always, I have so many other ideas to try when I can. Thank you.

Thanks! The camera took two shots before I could get up there and get set. Standing still for 25 secs actually isn't that easy! LOL!

I live 3 hrs from there and go there frequently. I tried to get a shot like your #3. It didn't work for me as well as yours. I love the detail in the red rock. Great shots!

Thanks! Keep it in my bag all the time to hook up the shutter release and such. #5 is getting printed, my wife loves it and will be on a wall soon!

I shot this with the 17-40 and a Circular Polarizer. Love those trees!

Thanks! The website is still very much a work in progress. I've started to shoot a lot of my son's sporting events and mom's are wanting photos. I set this up to have a way to fulfill the orders, and get me out of that end of the business. Thanks again!
