So Henry's is having a sale on memory cards. These are the ones I am looking at:

Lexar 400x SDHC UHS-1 Pro
8GB Sale Price: $19.99 You Save: $10
16GB Sale Price: $34.99 You Save: $25
32GB Sale Price: $59.99 You Save: $40

Lexar 400x Compact Flash Pro
8GB Sale Price: $44.99 You Save: $10
16GB Sale Price: $69.99 You Save: $30
32GB Sale Price: $139.99 You Save: $40

I shoot in RAW with my 5D Mark III. I want to get an SD card and a CF card because the camera takes both, and I would like the speed to be able to handle the 6fps that the 5D3 offers. I want the reassurance of having ample memory space for long days of shooting.

Which is the best combination? Budget won't allow me to go for both 32GB cards, but I can do at least one 32GB card plus any of the others. I have never used a CF card before - do I need to purchase a reader for my computer or do most newer computers have one built in? Do CF cards take in data faster than SD cards?

The sale ends TOMORROW (April 4th) thats why this is kind of urgent :p Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

yes
that speed will be very noticeable when you use a USB3 card reader to transfer to your PC (assuming it has USB3 port)
in-camera, there won't be much of a visible difference... shots taken go to bufffer, and buffer goes to the card... only when the buffer is full can you get slowed down by the card trying to catchup

  I usually just use the SD card slot on my computer....? Is it better to use a SD card reader via USB instead?

Also, the 5DIII doesn't support the UHS-1 to my knowledge...does that mean it will default to Class 10 speed? Is that still fast enough to handle the 6fps of RAW?

I know next to nothing about SD cards as far as what speeds, ratings and labelling all means...

you will get 6fps regardless of which card you use - the shots go to the buffer, and once that is full, it stops/slows down as it is dumping to the card... a faster card just means you get an extra shot or 3 before the buffer fills, and buffer empties a bit faster to let you go

CF cards are parallel port devices, whereas SD cards are serial port devices. That limits the inherent speed of SD, compared to CF. Look at the results here, and you can see how limited the SD performance is, as a result. http://www.barefeats.com/flash10.html (external link)
