Simply beautiful! What mountain range is that?

Thanks so much. I'm pretty sure they are called the Little Belt mountains. This was taken in East Helena, Montana.

Canon 60D since Dec. 2011, Canon 28-135mm lens, Canon 70-300mm USM lens and Nifty Fifty 50mm 1.8 lens. Just got in a new lens: Tamron 18-270mm ; )

Beautiful scene and lovely light.

Isn't it though. Those mountains are East of me so the Sun was going down behind me. Thanks so much for your comment.

Beautiful photo! Really love the lighting you captured, especially the gold in the trees!

Very nice, that would not be hard to look at every morning.

I really appreciate your comment. The light this day was wonderful and seemed to make the trees glow. I hope that I get the chance to see that kind of light again soon.

Thanks a lot Asharpshooter. When we first moved into our neighborhood we had a wonderful view of the mountains but they built apartments and houses all over so now the view is mostly gone. I don't have to go far to see nice views though, thank goodness ;)
