Another of the carnivores from Omega Parc during the GCPS. They're not nearly as cool as wolves, but this bunch is mighty photogenic. So what the heck - if it has fur, I'll shoot it.

Excellent shot Scott. I haven't gotten through all of mine of these guys yet. We seemed to spend a little extra time with these guys. I certainly feel the snow makes these shots make extra special.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

No doubt. CDS kept saying how happy he was that it was snowing, while I spent too much time getting worried about keeping snow off my front element. Now that I look through the shots I'm very happy that it was snowing. It really does add something to the photos.

I spent a while getting the snow "just right" with this one. In particular I *really* wanted the texture to be visible around his feet. I processed this 3 times in RSP and went through the Photoshop steps 3 times as well. The third time was a charm, I guess.

OK, I was too tired of fiddling with it by then.

Great shot. What is omega parc? I live in northern Illinois and we have alot of Coyotes. Never been able to get a shot like that. The snow really makes the photo cool. Good job.

Well if you ask me he looks pretty darned photogenic. Beautiful colors on him and the snow just adds to the whole look. I do believe though he is waiting for you to tell him where the 'ROAD RUNNER' went:lol:

He's looking in fine shape.

We have these guys running around wild (Although very difficult to see on a regular basis), and they look a little ratty.

Your shot is very nice.

Thanks for the comments!

Plater & Busybea: This shot was from Omega Parc, a "drive through safari" type of place in Montebello, Quebec. So he is captive, kept in a large area with lots of room but still behind a fence and rather used to humans driving by in big cars. I'd probably die and go to heaven if I ever got a shot like this of a true wild coyote.
