I should know this, but I'm all fogged up today and cannot think straight...

I have a couple of Nikon Flashes and a Canon 5D MKII, and was wondering if there was a Sync Cable like this:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …l_Duo_TTL_Off_Camera.html (external link)

That will trigger the Nikon Flashes? I have wireless triggers but i'm curious to knwo if they make such a cable? Canon trigger Nikon Flashes universal adapter.

I wanna go to B and H before they close for passover and buy whatever it is i need.

thanks!

I regularly use RF602's with a mix of Canon and Nikon hotshoe flashes...No problems.

Depends on your personal definition of "worky" might be.

It looks like the cited cords are designed to "fire" a Nikon flash using a Canon camera. But that is the limit of thee cooperation you will get. There will be no additional function like TTL.

A common two conductor sync cord would provide the same function.

Enjoy! Lon

Like Lon says, it depends on what you want to work. Most flashes will work in manual when on another brand of camera. Except for the camera makers that decided it would be a good idea to completely redesign the flash foot. What were they thinking?
It is wishful thinking on your part if you think iTTL is going to work on a Canon camera because of a magic cord. ???

If your 5D is special and can run the Nikon software that the camera needs to have to talk to the flash.

You will not find a cord or other adapter that will provide TTL to a Canon camera using a Nikon flash.

Enjoy! Lon

PW Control TL is supposed to be able to run Nikon flash units in a Canon setup, not too sure about using TTL or the exact parameters, again only wirelessly.
