I have a metal bookshelf attached to my wall of 1.5m wide, i just ordered a white background roll. How could I attach it without having to buy 2 tripods and a bar as I have a lack of space.

Maybe there exists something that you can click the rolls left and right on so that they are fixed, with some sort of hangers to hang on the bookshelf ?

Can you post up a picture of the area ... I have been doing a lot of reading on DIY background stands :) (if there is a picture my firewall at work must have blocked it)

I don't have a pic at the moment, but it's simply a metal plate of 1m50 attached to the wall, where I would like to put the roll under hanging, with clips left/right.

Go to a hardware store and look for plumbing pipe hangers then get a metal rod to support the backdrop. Or a jay hook and drill a hole in the shelf and use a washer and nut in top of the shelf.

If need be I can find links that have images of what im talking about.
