Shot handheld through double pane low-E glass with the 100-400L on 5DMKIII at ISO3200. Convert to Tiff with DPP and then Photshop for resize, curves, sharpening, and a bit of noise ninja:

RAW to TIFF in DPP no processing. Then TIFF to JPEG with CS5 quality=10, no processing.

Is that a finch? We don't see birds like that in Oklahoma. Detail and noise look great!

Looks darn fine for ISO 3200. How far away were you? What shutter speed and f stop were you using? Great job on post too!
