Here are a few shots of the locals I got the last couple of days before I head out to Maryland tomorrow. These were shot with the 60D, 300 f2.8LIS and 2x extender.

Very nice series George. You captured some good lookers. Very nice exposure of the American Robin. They can be challenging. I like the second Junco very much.

Thanks Diamond Lil, Lester, and Dave.

Dave,

I try not to do any "real " post processing if possible, just crop, border, and title in Irfanview. Means I have to try my best to get good results in the camera, especially since I shot jpeg. Also means sometimes I miss out on some great opportunities...

Beautiful group of "locals" George!
I'm partial to Nuthatches and just love your Red-breasted image. Wish I had them here.
That's also as good a capture of the American Robin as I've seen here. Well done.
Beautifully crisp images of the Junco and Towhee too. Love the male Spotted!
And I can't help but be a sucker for Stellers; another I'd love to see in person some day.
The Wilson's is special though. Great pose and setting that. Very nicely done!
