Will be following this thread cosely to see more examples of it, if stabilization is good and wide open performance performs better than the sigma I will replace mine in a heartbeat

all of those look like stopped down studio shots using the same model. I would need to see wide open shots before making any kind of judgement otherwise it offers no advantage over the 24-105 which is sharp right at f4.

Subscribed.

Considering That Nikon Guy's videos, even with some imperfections, this could be the lens a lot of us have been waiting for.

Waiting to see some pics with this lens on a 7D. Been looking at going wider so this might be a replacement for my 35L

Looks very nice.
Charlie, I see you have the canon L one as well? How does feel compared? Not sharpness, but just in general. AF, zooming (I see the zoom ring is quite slim compared to the canon)?

Although some are bigger still, you'd be amazed what you can get used to, as I found out after I got my 100-400L a few years ago....at almost 1.4kg and 35.5cm, at full stretch with the hood on, it's quite a beast!!!

To me, the new Tammy is looking like medicine for my wrist :-)
