Here's a set from a match earlier today. Weather was beautiful... low 70's, light breeze... luckily it was a 5pm match, so the sun wasn't too harsh. I won't bother mentioning equipment details as to not upset any fanbois. These were shot with a 70-200 and 400mm.

C&C welcomed.

I'm starting to really love backlit shots. Unfortunately, the window is very short in the stadium to get good backlit shots.

I agree. Very nice.

Backlit shots work well to deal with visors in tennis.

great set. turned out great being able to get some back light on the players. back light day sports all look very cool to me. really like that hard rim light that separates the players and makes them pop in the photos

Thanks a lot everybody.

Brian, you are right. I wish I could shoot backlit like #5 all day, everyday. I love it.

thanks guys. Burnett, the net does block a good shot every once in a while, but I'm 5'5 so I can't blame the net, lol.
