So, tonight I get to this club I'm shooting at, get my stuff all set up (5d, 24-105L and 540ez flash for you gear kids) load up the 540, fire it in test it's stuck on full power.

All my spares are sitting in my other car. Whoops.

In this thread, we discuss times where our stuff broke and we made do and got the job done. I've got two rubber bands holding a napkin from the bar over the front of my flash.

One more, am at model shoot with two Nissan Skyline GT-R's, an R33 and a new GT-R, setup the shot on my 5D/70-200 f4L IS, take the shot, mirror falls off my 5D. Finished the shoot on my 400d no problem.

OK, I'll play. On location shoot the battery on my flash trigger decided to be DOA. very luckily I had a 15' cord in my bag for the closest flash and used it with optical slaves for the rest. I should have had a spare battery.

Biggest "whoops".....shooting T&I for basketball...22 teams about an hour away. They wanted it done on a backdrop. I got there and realized that I forgot the backdrop. Thankfully I had a friend who was able to drive the hour trip and bring it to me although I had to do the first two teams without the backdrop and then cut them out and place them on the backdrop.....real PITA to make it look right because I had to add the shadows in manually.....but everyone was happy in the end :)
