My first commissioned automotive work. Circle K Florida bought two Jeeps to use as promotional vehicles throughout the summer.
The first one (un-wrapped) one is at 7:00 AM in a field near my house. The second and third, I had to do during the middle of the day. I took it from the Circle K office and just drove around until I found a couple of nearby locations. While driving that one around, I saw a nice big white wall in a parking lot, but I had to come back later in the evening when there were no other cars around. I set up two Speedlites on the tires of the Jeep to blow out the wall. I then did a fair amount of Photoshop cleanup on the pavement, and the transition between the pavement and the wall. I'm not super happy with it, but I think it's subtle enough that the Jeep remains the center of attention.
I'm pretty pleased with the turnout for my first project of this nature. I definitely don't specialize in automotive photos, so I was flying by the seat of my pants.
I used a lot of the techniques I learned from the threads posted by FrankC (PhotosGuy). Move the car and move your feet to eliminate background clutter and get a good composition. And trust me, there was a LOT of background clutter in all three of the first photos.
