Nice shots Jo! I have never seen the Golden Crowned Sparrow. I'll have to look them up and see if they come around my neck of the woods. The Song Sparrows I get, and your images are really good. Love the nice BG's in each.

Thanks Craig, I am not sure but I have another pic of the GC and it looks like it is a hybrid of GC and WC. Another reason I suspect this is they (GC and WC) are always together

Very nice series! #5 is my favourite. And you're right - they are usually on the ground. My sparrow shots all have not-so-lovely gravel backgrounds. Well done!

Thanks Dave, this is actually the smaller of the song sparrows, the other 2 are much bigger and I think the other one is ready to give birth
