Lowest 7D price

Just curious, what is the lowest recent price anyone has seen for a new 7D from one of the major stores (B & H, Adorama, Abe's of Maine). I thought I saw $1,469 a couple weeks back at Adorama. Waited until later in the day, but by then the price was back up .

It's been at $1400 for a while if I remember correctly. However I feel inclined to mention I'm selling a pristine 7D for cheap...

$1359 from the canon refurb store

$1086 on canon loyalty program. Hard to beat that one. I got mine there and it was like new.

I got mine for $1170 at Christmas. Was a great price at the time.

It looks like the cheapest in the last few months was Adorama, $1399, beginning of February, and PMI Digital / Profeel via eBay at $1388.

Cheaper through refurb or CLP of course.

Word of caution to the OP, if you're shopping on price alone, make sure you don't fall for a cheap price at a non-authorized dealer w/ gray-market goods.

As others have said, the CLP is probably the best deal on a 7D w/ some level of warranty (90 day). Many have reported low shutter counts on refurb'd ones from Canon. I think one of the recent ones I saw in the CLP thread said his had 30 clicks on it. It really is hard to beat $1087 + your local sales tax + $20-$25 if you don't have an old Canon camera to send in.

Another vote for CLP. Got mine with <2000 clicks for $1,087

Bought mine new couple months ago for 1170 on ebay. They sold out within couple hours. I think this and 5dii deals will pop up on ebay again.
