Somehow, with the sun's angle and my flash, these riders got that crazy eyes. :)

Thanks. He actually bought the shot earlier...:) There's something about this shot. The field was single file and chasing down 2 breakaway riders. Here, he has this carefree look on him...:) He is a big/tall rider. I have another side full bike profile shot of him in the same race. It looks like he is riding a size 60cm bike frame.

It's his eyes. On the front of the race ... but so relaxed. The other thing is the tilt of the horizon. Not too much ... just enough to add to the composition.

Great photo and congrats on the sale.

I just took delivery of a MkIIn on Friday. Ordered a 50mm f1.8 today just to get
me started. Building from the ground up again, and I'm going to try and emphasize using lenses
that others don't typically use when shooting this sport. Help mine stand out from the crowd.

Can't wait to shoot again! :D
