This was taken last June when Jethro Tull was playing a local venue. Cameras were not allowed, so I sneaked in a Canon 870 IS (I believe that's what the model is), and come out with a couple of nice shots. Hope you enjoy.

Why do you have to "sneak in" that model? What most if not all venues won't allow is professional type cameras like SLRs with a big lens

Because it was stated at the gate that no cameras were allowed, and there was a search area.

Anderson doesn't issue *any* photo passes...i wanted to shoot Tull two summers ago and was told that via the publicist, and the Live Nation rep. i did get a ticket and didn't see any photographers up front.

that said, the photo looks pretty pixelated, like its' been run through a Photoshop filter.

My buddy who is a press photographer for the local newspaper got a pass to shoot Beyonce. They got 30 seconds and she didn't even start singing until almost one minute into the show! They said "this is how it will go down" and instructed them to a spot where she walked by and stopped for about 20 seconds while being introduced and then they hustled them all out as the music began.
