I was browsing the internet last weekend and I stumbled upon flickrawards.com
It's quite a cool idea.
Breifly this is what Flickrawards is, a bunch of categorys, Colour, Flora, Cityscape, Event, B&W, Action, to name a few (60 and climbing) you submit a photo that best suits the subject and once there are 6 submissions it goes to the vote. If you win the category you get a little number beside your name, you start atzero with a bronze rank, after 10 wins you are silver, 25 wins gold.
Your photos are uploaded by a very user friendly interface, if your photostream is huge are your pics are key-worded it's a breeze.
You also get points for picking the first and second places photo's in each category, this encourages people to vote to keep the game rolling.
I find it very helpful, I get to find out how people view my photos is a short period of time, I can see what photos of others people like and theres noting quite like a good bit of competition to get the creative juices flowing.
