As some of you may remember, I experienced a dropped camera while using the Cotton Carrier. After extensive testing, I much prefered the SpyderHolster, and so returned the CC in favor of the Spyder. I've been loving the Spyder ever since.
Today I joined a few members here and went to the NYC AutoShow. It was a fun time. But before I left my house, I could not locate the hex key which very smartly resides tightly in the bottom of the Spyder camera plate. I stupidly must have not put it back in last time I used it.
I went to a hardware store and bought one, but it was not the exact size.
I emailed Spyder customer service on the way downtown, and their reply initially says they can take up to 3 business days to reply.
Well, they replied within an hour and offered to immediately send out, free of charge, another wrench. It turns out I partially stripped the screw and so I need one of those also.
I wanted to give a shoutout for great service on the part of Spyder. And just for full disclosure, other than owning their holster, I have absolutely no connection to their fine company.
