I had no idea what to title this post... Its that bizarre

Picked up a new Lowepro Pro Messenger 200AW today from Henry's. When I got home I started rummaging through the pockets, looking at how I want to set it up, when I noticed something...odd.

In the back panel pocket on the inside of the bag, I found two SD cards (a 4gb Sandisk and a 128mb Sandisk), two USB memory sticks that were 4gb each, two mini Nikon LED flashlight things (that didn't work), and a new tripod camera mount (new because it was in a plastic baggy, unopened)

.....dafuq did I just buy?

Should I be worried about those SD cards and memory sticks? Its not like all of that was in a bag or anything, just sitting loosely in the zippered pocket. I don't know if someone came and snuck them into the bag randomly (containing a virus maybe? ) OR if they were just a "gift" tossed in by the sales people at Henry's at one time (because I didn't see anyone touch the bag while I was paying for it). I know the bag isn't "used" though.

Anyone else ever come across this when buying a new bag? Is it common? I don't know what to think :p And Im afraid to put those memory sticks and SD cards into my computer to see whats on them.......

I'd take them back to the store as the person who returned your bag may contact them if/when he realises what he's done.

haha I wasn't planning on letting those SD cards anywhere near my 5D3. I don't know WHAT to do with them, but they are pretty much worthless really - and the 128mb card lol, that could carry what...5 RAW files?

I might keep that tripod mount tho :) Its handy to have an extra one...even though I always assumed tripod mounts were made specific to their tripod and couldn't be bought "seperately"

But it has its original tag on it though...is it possible it was bought and returned? I hadn't really thought of that...

Oh yeah, it's possible. People buy a bag for a vacation and then return it...

Well you might want to consider the fact that you didnt really pay for any of the extra items. If the shoe was on the other foot how would you feel.

Personally, I would take them back. Karmas a bit##...

I'd return them. Probably a returned bag - might be of value to someone, who knows!

It's also possible someone from the store used the bag ;)

You got bonus accessories don't worry about it.
