Im going to attempt a 365 with my son this year. He just turned one today and Id love to document his growing into a walking talking bratty pain in the ass two year old! Wish me luck as Im off to a great start. We wanted to have him smash and eat a cake but he was deathly afraid of that bright blue thing! He wouldnt even touch it or lick the icing from our fingers. Poor guy doesnt know what hes missing!

Such a sweet expression. Good luck on your journey, you'll have even more fun looking back. I remember my daughters first birthday, before I could get the old polaroid instamatic ready, she was face first into cookie monster. :) It's been a long time ago, but it seems like only yesterday. Don't forget to enjoy every minute of this time.

We were on the way to the grocery store. I wanted to get him sitting in his shopping cart but when I looked in the mirror to check on him, the distortion from the plastic mirror made me laugh. We pulled over and I shot one of my favorite views.

Thanks Don! Its two YN560s onto white seamless and an Einstein through a 70in Fotodiox octa. Ive done it before with 3 speedlights and the results are the same however, so you dont need an expensive strobe to get the effect.

Thanks Lisa! Funny story, I was in another thread last night which you had replied to and I thought "Ah man, I wish she would reply in one of my threads"

I know my first shot (the only non snapshot so far) and this shot are not exactly your style but what do you think of the processing on them?

This didnt quite turn out how I had envisioned. I thought the bubbles would show up better on the white background but they didnt. Then I tried to change the angle of the main light and didnt get the floor pure white. Oh well, I thought the bubble in front of his eye was cute. Im going to try some bubbles out doors tomorrow or Sunday. Its supposed to be GORGEOUS here in Maryland.

The bubble in front his eye is both wired and distracting
