... but I have had difficulties shooting one in good conditions, striking a nice pose. I like this one.

You did very well with that one Gerard especially considering the mixed lighting.
I too am amazed that such a common bird can be so hard to get posed and exposed properly; and yes, I'm struggling to find one of my own I like. Well done!
