Am I still welcome here?

I recently posted asking for advice for a first time higher-end camera buyer. Ive learned alot the last couple days. My wife and I went shopping and we tried out a rebel xt, Nikon D70 and D50. With my wifes small hands we chose the smaller, lighter weight Nikon D-50 with the kit lens and an additional 55-200 lens plus a 1gb memory card. The whole package was a 20.00 under budget. I think we made a good choice. Another nice feature was the multiple languages it has. My wife is Korean and myself native American. I hope I can continue to post in this forum even though I bought a Nikon. If anyone thinks this is inappropriate, please post the address of a similar forum.

Nah, hang around. This just means we're going to have to work a little harder on you before you make your next camera purchase. Obviously we won't be able to help you with your Nikon-specific questions, but anything relating to digital photography generally is fair game.

Wow, you're the third newbie that bought the Nikon D50 recently. Hope you post some pictures, see how they look. Have fun with your new camera.

You'll have to admit, at about $200 to $300 less than the least expensive Canon DSLR, the D-50 is a pretty good deal (for those so inclined).

I'm still a little surprised that Canon didn't leave the 300D in the lineup and drop the price to be competitive with the D-50. They have fairly similar specs. Shucks, Canon still has three models of the film Rebel on the shelves...

As the others mentioned, you might not get too much camera-specific info here (it is slanted towards Canon) but there is a lot of really useful digital photography info here that applies to anyone who partakes in this great hobby!! Welcome and post some shots......interested to see what the Nikon can do!!

Correct me if im wrong, but I'm quite sure the 350D has korean, unfortunately i cant be positive since under the language menu it displays the names in their native language and alphabet. but there are 4 "oriental" (sorry if that comes off rude) languages, im assuming one is chinese, another is japanese, and I would bet that one of the other two is korean.
