Milk and Brownies

What is your guy's opinion of the direction this shoot is heading?

I'm not sure I understand the question...

This looks like a piece of cake and a glass of milk on a place-setting with a paper napkin.

haha, sorry... I'm wondering does it look as appetizing as I know it was good? I'm having a hard time making these brownies look as good as they taste and I'm looking for suggestions on how others would shoot this.

I'd say show a bite taken out of the brownie, put the fork in the brownie as if it had just cut through it, maybe show the icing being "stretched" between 2 cut pieces of the brownie?

The loose strand of icing on the front looks almost like a brown earthworm...i'd try for different placement.

And, offset the glass of milk to the left.

The balance of colorful elements is very good, however I would crop-out the taller part of the glass. I would love to see more detail on the sprinkles and the fork as far as focus goes. I feel like this should be a sharper macro-type image. Other than texture I feel like the focal point is a bit scattered. The overall comp. is very nice though. I feel like I want to eat that!

I'd eat it in a heartbeat. If milk is supposed to be part of the picture the glass should fit the frame and it should be in focus as well. Brownie looks great, I'll take two.

Omg thats funny. I like the shot but it really only says advertisement to me. The earthworm doenst look right since the knife would have cut thru it when making the slice. I like the colors. I thnk the object in the extreme background is a little distracting. WOuld also like to see the entire glass of milk.

Frankly I'd shoot it just held in position for a bite in front of some lovely lady's luscious lips.
It does look yummy - earthworm notwithstanding.
