The wind knocked over my 28" westcott apollo and snapped one of the four ribs. Anyone has a clean method to fix the umbrella problem?

I electrical taped my Apollo Orb - worked all right until it got knocked over again and now has 1 broken and 2 bent ribs :( It was a circular-ish shape which worked decently for the octa, not sure how it would work with a softbox though.

Update: I emailed Westcott about the problem - they will be updating the Apollo line with fibreglass frames in the near future. Until then Kenny - if you can't get it fixed you can send it in for repair. They said mine was unlikely to be able to be repaired with a broken rib but that the replacement was $60. Not cheap, but cheaper than buying a new orb or softbox.

If the rib is just snapped clean you can probably use a piece of metal rod as a splint and clamp it with the proper size wire rope clamps using a couple on each end of the splint.
