Not that I have really been making an effort to push this through but the Department of State in Washington DC has finally asked to publish several of my photos in State Magazine (external link).

There are several people on POTN who have had their photos published in magazines and books and was just curious about how that came about. Always looking for new ways to reach out to a bigger audience.

I have a photo in Betty Whites book "If You Ask Me (And of Course You Won't)" on page 185

I also have photos in the book "Legendary Route 66"

But most of the things I have in newspapers and magazines are ads or from events that I've shot for clients.
I've had stuff in Newsweek, Ladies Home Journal, Todays Chicago Woman, West Suburban Living, Chicago Social, the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times and all of the smaller areas local papers.

Often it came about because they gave up thier images for free.
