First: When Lightroom 4.1 will be available as an official version not candidate ?? I've seen infot 2 weeks ago saying that patch will be released in few days and after two weeks still nothing.... btw how this candidate works?? can I downloaded it for free ? or first I must have LR 4 and then download 4.1 candidate to start processing my raws in LR4... no I will not convert to different formats... I would like to work with RAW cr2 ONLY!

Second: Is there any way to setup one of the buttons to change Focusing Mode from AL SERVO to One Shot focusing mode? What I mean is: Im ussing 99% of the time AI Servo shooting shooting but sometimes I wish to press the button to change focusing mode very fast for just a ONE PICTURE to One Shot Focusing mode....

I purchased LR 4, but have yet to download it.
I did however download LR 4.1 release candidate (RC) and it installed without asking for any serial number. I have LR 3 installed also but I didn't choose to move my LR 3 catalog over to LR 4.1 RC. I started a fresh catalog with LR 4.1 RC.
I believe the LR 4.1 RC "expires" at the end of June...it mentions it somewhere on the download page.
I really like it so far. The program has frozen on me 3 times I think requiring a force close of the application, but I didn't lose any information or edits I had made. Sliders, and speed seem great.

You have to have LR 4 to download the LR 4.1 candidate. I'm running LR 4.1 CR and I have no issues with it. It's the only way to use my 5D3 with my normal workflow.

I just bought LR4 for my 5diii. Got them both yesterday. Installed LR4 today and my LR3 library automatically transferred into LR4. I downloaded the the 4.1 update from Adobe and downloaded some RAW files from the 5diii with no problems. The editing works very smoothly with no problems.

Pretty good for me not being your swiftest computer guy.

Here is the Adobe Labs download link for LR 4.1 RC.
http://labs.adobe.com …bID=details#release_notes (external link)
Doesn't give a firm release date, only says that this 4.1 RC version expires 6/30/12. Note the link to download LR 4.1 RC is different then the link to download LR 4.
