It seems that when the light sensor for the auto LCD brightness control is blocked or unblocked from ambient light, the LCD brightness remains the same. I am wondering if I have a dud or are there any other 5D3 owners seeing the same thing? Thanks

Apr 12, 2012 05:34 | #2 OK, just confirmed that there's no malfunction in the auto brightness control. It's just not doing the auto adjustment in real time like in 5D2. The sensor takes a reading when the preview button is pressed.
