I'm sure I wouldn't even begin to understand that sport but you did a great job of capturing the action. Very sharp. I think the girl in the first shot may need a new paddle/stick/bat/oar!

Nice action. Looks like hockey with attitude! The grid on the facemask looks like it would let the ball right through ...

Tried it - lots of running, but a lot of fun! Same sport we call "hurling" in the US, right? Imagine field hockey on a field the size of three soccer/football fields. Fun, but watch your hands - the hurleys (sticks) hurt!

Surprisingly low-contact sport, though. More like ultimate frisbee than lacrosse that way (at least the way it's played in the Pacific Northwest).
