I have a pretty much brand new 7D (body only) with less than 300 hits on the shutter count. How much should I expect to sell it for in Australia?

I don't think the Earth revolves around me. It revolves around the Sun, which shines out of my ass.

I'm not sure on the Australian selling price for your camera, but my recommendation is to go to a site like ebay australia, look up your camera, and filter only to show the 'completed listings'. Take a look at what condition and what's included for any of the listings, and that should give you an idea of the current market value of what you have.

I hope that helps a bit.

Bwest has it right. eBay will give you the best idea of what your used body is selling for. I tend to try to sell through POTN and Craigslist first. This way you avoid eBay fees (and PayPal fees if you sell locally), which can be quite a chunk for high-value items. If no one is biting, you can then consider eBay. Even if you sell it for a little cheaper locally, you get cash in hand vs having to deal with all the fees and shipping, which could eventually even out in the end.
