I didn't know how viewing DNG files were handled by Windows, since I don't use DNG, but then I ran across a link to a 2011 Release Candidate for an Adobe DNG Codec for Win7. You'll have to poke around to get the latest release for the newer bodies, but it looks interesting for DNG folks!
