Well, cool!

I wonder if they have done anything to improve the "Auto Align" of the HDR...I hope so!

I don't think so as this doesn't appear in the list of changes...

Ah, well...the HDR is OK when you can get the shots to Align, so I guess we just take it and play with it!

Anyone trying it out yet? I noticed it got rid of CA on my 24-105. What else does it do? Any literature on it's functions and how to use it? It looks like it removes colour noise when you check the setting button but then the noise is back after it does it's thing.

I did notice it is extremely slow when you click Save. Far slower than waiting for the changes to take place when working with NR.

Which version do you have? The only one I can find is 3.11.10.0...?

Link above, Manuals tab.

Are you clicking Apply after finding the best settings in the small window and getting an In Progress notice for a couple seconds?

I did notice it is extremely slow when you click Save. Far slower than waiting for the changes to take place when working with NR.

Save should be extremely fast because it is only writing text to the metadata and you will not see any difference in the display. Convert and Save by me is seven seconds for a 16 bit full res tif with NR, 5 seconds without, roughly equal to LR 4.1RC.

Thanks. At this point all I see is that it does get rid of CA and sharpens the image slightly. I can't tell if it does anything for distortion. It takes forever and I'm wondering of I cannot achieve the same thing by sharpening in PS later. Have to play with it a little more.
