I'm considering printing and framing a panorama to hang on the wall above the headboard of our bed. Unfortunately, the lighting on the part of the wall is far from ideal. The (incandescent) lights are on the far side of the room, and the windows are on the same wall as where the picture would hang. I'm trying to get an idea of what my options are for lighting.
I'd rather not wire up permanent lights on that wall art-gallery-style.
With the increasing use of LED lighting, and the low power requirements, has anyone seen custom frames fitted with a set of battery powered LED lights?
As an alternate option, across the room from the wall where the photo would hang is a shelf about 10 feet up, with an electrical outlet that is on a lightswitch. I could put a spot light up there, potentially.
