I imagine that HSS is breakable, just that it would require more expensive parts and engineering. Either that or it uses something that's covered by a patent they can't get around


T3i, Sigma 10-20, Sigma 30 1.4, 18-55 kit, 55-250, YN-565, a few books, some software, and a desire to get good.....

I'd prefer to pay a little more and get a second YN-565 just to have a backup that does ETTL on camera. But at least we're getting more options.

Does YN have any ETTL triggers for sale?

If you don't mind going IR then try the YN ST-E2 for ETTL functionality.

I would like YN to come out with a compact wireless model (pocketable) akin to the 320EX with stronger guide # and good head swivel options...

Do we know if the EX600 is any smaller than the 565EX ? same guide # (I think) so perhaps not...
