LMAO now that is a funny shot and caption! Well done Dave! lol :) Mergansers are fast but I don't think they will catch Harry! The moon is a nice touch too. :)

Thank you everyone for looking in and commenting... I was going out in the field and the partial moon had a "con trail" from a jet below it... and just as I snapped off a shot I saw two mergansers blasting through my view finder..... It ended up a cartoon moment ...:D

I scrolled down slowly and stopped with the contrail out of view. I paused and wondered what the caption meant, and then scrolled down and got a really good laugh.

That's a good one Dave!
Definitely got a good chuckle out of this one. Impressive bit of timing on your part too to allow the jet through and then time your shutter release w/the moon in the frame. Very nicely done!

I think I found the same mergansers after they landed...maybe too much caffeine in the fish they are eating?
