What a cutie Gary. That second shot is of a great pose because you see the shape of the head. The third shot however, is just amazing! He looks as if he's about to surf a snow wave.

I love this set. Great color and detail. It's amazing these little birds can survive the winters up there.

I really enjoyed this whole set Gary.. excellent compositions and settings in the snow... the Horned Larks are great birds to photograph and you captured them brilliantly.

I have been looking for them this spring along with the Snow Buntings and Longspurs, but none came through.

Very pretty set of the Horned Lark Gary!
The snow setting makes these a very special visual treat. Hard for me to pick a favorite from the last 3, but I really like the 2 w/the "snow perch". Nicely done!
