lol, actually i dont think he / she ever saw me, for i was so far away! and its the reason i was kinda able to get the eyes looking in my direction, when i was closer they always look away....

Terrific shot! Where did you take this? In a zoo, or in the wild somewhere? (Just wondering because I photographed the snow monkeys in Japan a few years ago.)

thanx! There is a terrific exhibit of snow monkeys at the Central Park Zoo in NYC. I would have loved to see your pics but they have been removed :(

No problem. If you're interested in Japanese Macaques (AKA Snow Monkeys), the Jigokudani Center is a great place to visit. IMHO, it is best to go during the winter season to see them soaking in the hot spring.

Be sure to bring "rain gear" (for you and your camera) if you wish to shoot close-ups, as the monkeys are running, jumping, splashing all over the place!
