I took this shot in August of this year. This little hummer was buzzing around in the beebalm. Canon 200mm f2.8L and Canon 1.4X

Very, very nice.......two beauties for the price of one.
I like that broader approach to bird photography reflected so well in many of your shots. Again, I feel that way birds become alive.

I am putting out a feeder for these ones next year. Never had the patience for that considering you have to be so careful to change the nectar almost every day when its hot. But after this one almost landed on my knee ( I was sitting) I decided to do what I can to entice them to return.
