Hey all,
Just curious if anyone has found a brand they prefer for aftermarket batteries for their 5d Mark II. I'm looking for one that will charge in the OEM charger. I know with the 1d's the Lenmar brand did pretty well, but figured I'd do my research first. Thanks in advance!!

Yes Sterlingtek makes pretty good batteries, I have used them for my 40D in the past and they were great.

I have 2 Maximal Power batteries bought on Amazon. They charge fine and the camera shows the % of battery life left also. Using them in a 7D, but it's the same battery as the MkII.

I have Maximal Power bought from Amazon -- works just fine especially for the price! You can get a couple of them for the price of an OEM battery.

I have 2 Maximal Power (from Amazon). They work fine and are fully compatible (charger, battery info, etc.). They don't seem to last as long as the original, but for the price, they can't be beat.
