Interesting idea BE. The reflection (refraction) of the grass looks cool!

Excellent idea but somehow it doesn't seem to quite work. Not sure if it's the web image but none of the drops seem in sharp focus. Might be better off going for a wider aperture and just getting a few drops in sharp focus with the rest of them OOF.

Thanks Brian, in my files it appears sharp, it may be when uploading, however, I will agree with you, bugs are easier to shoot. I will be bringing out the big gun, for the next attempt on this one. (50mm) :D ;) :D

String of pearls, Ms BE may not buy it. Brian is right there is a funny halo around the drops. I like the idea and pattern you have captured. It seems the standards of merit change when you post on the "macro" forum as opposed to most of the other gallery forums (especially depth of field).

Thanks Dennis, no, Ms BE didnt buy it, but she really liked it(which may give me a temporary break) the Halo is probably because I was trying to back light the drops, I will have to work on this idea some more. as fars as standards on this Forum, its our fault. We've done it to ourselves. It just shows how much talent we have on this Forum. :D :D :D :D :D
