Very pretty bird and setting Mack.
I love the little "saddle" in which you captured this one as the colors both blend and contrast w/the skylarks. Nicely done!

Thanks for the comments.
It was purely by chance that I saw this bird.
I must learn to keep my eyes open when walking slowly as there are several species that are happy just sitting in the grass, the number of these I miss must be staggering!
