While we were staying in VA Beach for vacation last September there was a pretty bad storm that rolled through. There were even tornado warnings for some of the surrounding areas. It was kinda crazy to watch the storm pass over the ocean. It was really nice then real quick it was so dark it was like it was night time. These were taken about 4pm. Enjoy.

It is structure like that, that scares us in the Midwest.

Pics 1 and 2 are AWSOME. I lived near there and never seen Structure like that.
Normally it would fall apart after going over the Blue Ridge.

Beautiful shots. My husband and I were in Virginia Beach for that storm, I have a shot of it almost identical to your #3. We rented a house on the beach and were on our way back there when the storm rolled in. I've never seen anything quite like it. Tornado warnings were issued from Currituck, NC to Virginia Beach.

Number 2 is quite ominous. I like it the best.

Great shots, I like number two because of the sense of the scale it gives.

I think if I saw a storm like that approaching I might just pee my pants.
Awesome images.
