I think these pictures are truly great. I prefer the ones of him in clothes over the others one both a) because I am not a fan of unclothed pictures of kids that popular, just a personal preference and b) he looks more in his natural environment rather than like you just don't have a backdrop.

What a cutie! I really like #3 with the bubbles as well and like the dandelion touch in the final image. I prefer kids in clothes as well but you've done a lovely job of separating him from the background with dof. Very nice!

Super cute. Mu daughter just turned one and I would love to do a shoot like this. But now she walks so harder to get the shots when using strobes.

Thank you! I prefer the clothes outdoors as well. Plus, the poor kid got so itchy. :D

Thank you very much! I like the clothes as well but mommy (the boss) wanted some just in his diaper.

Just give her something to do. My boy doesnt walk yet but he certainly doenst sit in one spot. Blowing bubbles kept him fairly confined and the flower worked a charm too. :D

He's adorable, Shane! I love these as is, but would *really* love to see some eye contact in a few. That's my CC for the day. :D

Thanks Lisa. Im going to have to do another shoot without so many disctractions around. One thing Ive come up with that works well (this is good tip for others too, I think) is to play peekaboo from behind one of my reflectors. It didnt work here because my boy has a rather ridiculous obsession with anything that has wheels.

Sorry jack,

I deleted my post - I thought I put it in my thread. I was not trying to thread jack.
