Canon calls it a "phenomenon". I'd call it a problem. The aurora borealis is a phenomenon. When Canon gets all the phenomenons sorted out I am still going to get one. Looking forward to it. Shop where I do business said it should be another three weeks before the next shipment.

Canon CA and UK Suspending EOS 5D Mark III Shipments
I have not seen anything official yet, but I am receiving multiple reports (thank you for sending them) that Canon Canada and Canon UK are suspending shipments of the new Canon EOS 5D Mark III until the "Light Leak" issue is resolved.
